دراما باكستانية كتبتها سميرة فضل، واستنادا إلى رواية راضية بوت الشهيرة "بانو" والتي تتعرض للوقائع التاريخية التي أدت إلى تقسيم الهند، وانفصال باكستان عنها في الفترة بين 1947 و 1956. الدراما تستغل قصة الفتاة الهادئة "بانو"، وهي فتاة من عائلة مسلمة متماسكة تعيش في لوديانا (تقع في ولاية البنجاب) في عصر ما قبل عام 1947. وتتناول العلاقة بينها وبين خطيبها "حسن"، وكيف واجه حبيبان من جنس واحد المحاكمات والمحن الناجمة عن التقسيم عام 1947.
Destaan هو المشروع الأول من نوعه في الدراما الباكستانية والذي يتناول هذه القضية السياسية والتاريخية الحساسة، ويعده النقاد والمهتمون بالدراما الباكستانية أفضل الأعمال في تاريخها على الإطلاق! رغم أن تصوير هذا العمل لم يستغرق سوى شهرين فقط، تم بثه بعدها مباشرة ليرتفع بجميع أبطاله من الوجوه الجديدة إلى مصاف النجوم!
